What It Left Behind — A Three-Part Poster

What It Left Behind is a three-part poster series about the effects of growing up with an alcoholic parent. Through photography and layered graphic design, the series uses a stuffed bear, a paper house, and stained hands to show different kinds of lasting pain. The bear represents childhood and what a child absorbs, the house shows how addiction can damage the safety of home, and the hands represent the traces that remain into adulthood.
